Mini sessions are my FAVOURITEEE (not that I don’t love spending hours with couples) but honestly most couples fall asleep after an hour of posing. I’m only slightly kidding about that. In all seriousness a quick 30min session is most times all we need to fill up the mantel or get the 6 photos we need for the photo wall. My mini sessions are discounted and happen at set times and locations. I never go to the same mini session location twice and they ALWAYS sell out. This spot in wasaga beach is a hidden gem that lots of couple request me for (for good reason, DUNES!). The Blue Mountains is gosh darn STUNNING. I don’t care if you’re from the city and think otherwise, if you haven’t decided on where to take you engagement photos are looking for a beautiful location, you need to consider The Blue Mountains, Ontario. Lauren and Scott were referred to me by one of my previous clients who ended up coming along and puppy sitting their cute little daschund named Daphne who was the true MVP at this engagement. Obviously L + S were as down to earth and fun as the person who referred them. We started at a private farm called Hen and Harrow (view the farm session here) just outside of Collingwood and migrated down the street to another private farm that offered fields of pretty weeds or wildflowers as I call them haha.

This was the first time I had ever shot in Toronto, believe it or not. I find that my style never really takes me to the city. Scarborough Bluffs however were on my bucketlist. I got the opportunity to visit the bluffs with this couple as I associate shoot with their wedding photographer (and my soul sister) Cacie Carroll. The whole adventurous Scarborough Bluffs engagement session was magical.
