They said their vows in front of their closest family and friends at a small a-frame cottage near Huntsville. The Muskoka A-frame is an iconic spot for people looking to escape for a while and for these two it was the perfect place to get married during covid.
Liane + Cam chose me for my adventurous style and willingness to plan a whole day excursion for them. Truth is, they didn’t need a whole day excursion because this Muskoka A-frame cottage elopement was already the perfect spot.
L + C planned everything beautifully. The snow was freshly fallen, the four floral bouquets were stunning, she rented tables from a local spot and organized a catered dinner for her guests to take home and enjoy socially distancing. As always though, nothing goes exactly as planned… a few fun mishaps were: the groom forgot his dress shirt, the getting ready took longer than expected, our arrowhead provincial park excursion got cut short and the bride had to double back to get her bouquet when she started walking down the aisle! Things happen and I was happy to witness these two roll with the punches at every step of the way.
HOT TIP : When you plan your elopement, splurge on the venue and let it do the talking. There is nothing easier to decorate than an already aesthetically pleasing venue.
